In this tutorial there is a use of Cadd9 chord. That is new to me too. I went to find out more, and it simply means is a C Major chord, with the 9th note (CDEFGABCD) . So you just need to play GDEC.

No capo, 6 chords and a little fanciful for the strumming patterns.
