"For the Love of It” is a meeting of minds, spurred on by a love for their instruments & the search for a purity of sound that is able to speak volumes with a single draw of the bow. Covering music styles from JS Bach and Beethoven to Stravinsky and Kenneth Leighton, together with accompanist Lim Yan, the violin-cello duo brings to the music an added chemistry – a common understanding of playing their instrument simply for the love of it and a belief that there are kindred spirits abound, all searching for a voice in this tightly wound-up cityscape.
